Policies

Check- In is 3pm or later for the Guest House and after 4pm for the Main House

Check in times are different due to the extent of cleaning required for the main house. We want to make sure your accommodations are impeccably cleaned and ready for you. Your accommodations may be available earlier, especially if it was not rented the night before. If you arrive in the Bozeman area early, feel free to give us a call. We can also make some recommendations for local sightseeing, lunch or shopping. 


Since we are close to the Bozeman Airport, we see many people needing to come in late and leaving early. Just let us know what we can do to help. We gladly accept late night arrivals. You can head in and make yourself comfortable.


Check-Out is 11 am

From time to time we receive requests for late check-outs, and based upon our schedule and occupancy we try to accommodate such requests as best we can. Enjoy your peace and quiet or take a stroll around the property in the morning. Snack and enjoy some breakfast. While we haven't operated as a Bed and Breakfast since 2016, our facilities are ready for you to whip something up and share time with family and friends. Fox Hollow Inn is a small and family owned operation. Furthermore, we have a limited (yet exceptional) housekeeping staff, and with new guests arriving just a few hours after other guests have departed, we are not always able to say yes. We will do our best to accommodate, and similarly, if you will not be leaving the Bozeman area until later in the day, visit our travel guide page. Parking

The Fox Hollow parking lot has end of the road convenience and quiet. Peace that is special to the Bozeman area, now! Traffic is mostly limited to Fox Hollow guests so it’s nice and quiet. The paved lot and free guest parking is located next to the guest house. There is plenty of room for larger vehicles or vehicles with trailers to turn around. The location is also excellent for motorcycle parking. Main house guests are asked to please utilize the driveway parking first. Four cars can fit in the driveway. End of the cul-de-sac spaces are shared.


Late Night Arrivals & Early Departures

Guests do not have to check-in or check-out with the hosts. Your vacation rental is ready for you when you arrive and there are simple check-out instructions provided in the room prior to your departure. We just ask that you respect other guests when leaving or arriving at early or late hours and keep the noise at a minimum.


Deposit and Cancellation Policies

Deposit Policy

We do require a credit card on file for all reservations. We authorize the card for the reservation amount or a deposit amount to confirm the reservation. Credit cards are run for your reservation on the day of scheduled arrival. If you'd like to split payment options, feel free to call and let us know.


Cancellation Policy

When cancelling 14 Days or more in advance of arrival, please call or email and confirm. No charges or fees will be applied.


Our Non-Refundable rate promotion does not allow any refund.


When cancelling within 14 days or less in advance of arrival Guests are responsible for any night that we are unable to resell to another guest. Furthermore, any night that we are unable to resell will be charged to guests’ credit card on file the day after original scheduled departure date.


As we are a small business, changes or cancellations require 14 days’ notice for the guest to be released of payment responsibility. This includes but is not limited to personal and family illnesses, accidents, weather, as well as failure to obtain air or ground transportation to the inn regardless of the cause of the failure. However, if a cancellation is requested less than 14 days in advance of the arrival date, a refund of deposit may still be made, but ONLY if we are able to successfully sell all our remaining rooms. In all cases of cancellation where a refund is necessary, a $25 processing fee will be charged. For these reasons, Trip Cancellation Insurance is highly recommended and is available online or from most travel agencies. Please remember, we are making a commitment to you, and you are making one to us.


Refund Policy

For cancellations less than 14 days prior to arrival, if payment is made in advance, refunds will be given if we can fill the previously booked nights. A $25 fee will be charged for the processing fees we have already been charged. The rest will be returned within 7 days after the cancelled rooms have been booked. If no payment was made in advance, the credit card on file for the reservation will be charged for any night we are unable to resell on the day after the originally scheduled check out date.


$25 administrative fee for refunds is per room on multiple room reservations and non-consecutive night reservations.


Reservations booked through a travel agency or online (other than this Fox Hollow web site) must be canceled through the on-line service or travel agency. Fees and refunds are handled through that third party. Booking direct is best!


Pets – Dog Friendly

Dogs are allowed and we are proud to be pet friendly rental. No other pet is allowed, thank you. Travelers will be responsible for their animals’ safety and behavior. Please clean up after your dogs. No dog is to be left unattended at any point in time in the guest house suites due to noise and disturbance of other guests. (Dogs may be left for short periods in a crate in the Main House.) Please let us know if you will be traveling with your dog. Leashes will be used for the safety of all guests and animals.


Fox Hollow is a Non-Smoking Rental

Smoking is NOT permitted inside Fox Hollow. Those feeling the need to smoke, may do so outside away from windows and doors.

Any damage done by smoking in the building will be billed to the guests and taken seriously.


CANDLES & INCENSE BURNING:

Due to our insurance regulations and for the safety of all guests as well as to prevent unique odors from building up in guestrooms, we cannot permit guests to burn flame, candles or incense of any kind.
