There are many treasures in and around the area. From hidden springs, river whirlpools, and some of the best breakfast spots around. And then there's the MOR; a historical treasure trove of exhibits and paleontology that seek to enthrall every visitor of every age.
Honoring a longstanding tradition, our trips to the Museum of the Rockies are a special way our family spends chilly afternoons. From the time the kids were little to the present, we've always enjoyed the museum's engaging and rich collections.
There's always something new to learn about. The changing seasonal exhibits showcase everything from art, to teeth, to living animals! Every new showcase evokes curiosity and questions. Of course, we finish our tour of the museum with a show in the planetarium before we head upstairs to the children's area. No matter how frequent our visits, they are always enjoyable.
One of our favorite aspects of the museum is the ever continuing commitment to studying history. Teams of researchers and paleontologists participate in and head ongoing fieldwork and discoveries! This commitment brings history to MOR visitors in a fresh way year after year! You can even view the history unfolding in the paleo viewing lab in the Siebel Dinosaur Complex.
We know how cool it is to have such a treat in our backyard. I'm always proud to suggest the experience to our guests at Fox Hollow Inn.
